How we choose and check items

Which stores

We show products only from stores that allow it, through the store's own affiliate (commission) program or the store's written permission. Prices, sizes and pictures come from the store itself.

Store names and logos belong to their owners. Showing a store's items does not mean that store endorses, sponsors or partners with The Kosher Closet.

What we check before an item appears

• Coverage: a person reviews each item and labels it, for example "works as-is" or "separate shell needed". This label is our own assessment, not a religious ruling or certification. Please check fit, fabric and your own standards.
• Sizes: sizes and measurements are copied only from the store's own size chart and product text. If something is not written by the store, we show it as unknown.
• Prices: each item shows the price the store listed and when it was checked. Items whose price has not been checked in the last 24 hours are hidden until checked again. The store always shows the final price before you pay.
• Buyer reviews: for large marketplaces where many sellers share one website, an item needs real, recently checked buyer ratings for both the seller and the product before it can appear.

How we earn money

We may earn a commission from some stores. It never changes your price, which items we show, or their order. Every store's items look and sort exactly the same, whether or not that store pays us.

Shoppers can choose an optional membership for extra help, such as personal sizing and a printable catalog. Browsing and the shopping list never require it.

What we never do

• No made-up reviews, ratings, savings or "only 2 left" messages.
• No countdown timers or pressure to buy.
• Your personal and family sizes stay private on our secure website.
